Traveling with a dog requires planning and preparation to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for both you and your furry friend. Your destination, travel method, health and safety, and making sure everyone is comfortable can be easily achieved - Here are our top tips.
Planning and Preparation:
Make sure your destination, including hotels and transportation, is pet-friendly.
Ensure your dog has necessary vaccinations, a microchip, and of course if going abroad make sure you have all the necessary paperwork.
Consider your dog's size, temperament, and the distance involved when you work out how to travel.
Health and Safety:
Make sure you pack necessary medications, and research local vets at your destination, especially if you have an older dog or one that has a specific condition.
